Despite being summer it actually isn't that warm here most of the time so when a day like this happens we MUST do something to enjoy it. And we did.
First, we went kayaking in the bay, and for those who know wellington, we went by the docks to Oriental Bay, under the sprinkling fountain, quite refreshing! and then 3 of us, brave souls managed to get to the lighthouse further up, with our bravest paddler actually managing to go around it.

We stayed resting for a while and we needed the rest because coming back was bloody hard work!!!!

So we weren't brave enough for that but Ivan did actually jump into the sea and frolicked in the waves. we all thought he was CRAZY!
