Early morning start. Gorgeous skies as usual.
And off we go on our little convoy of cars on our way to Opiko
Lord of the Rings countryside with white sheep and white horses
so pretty!
And the convoy arrives
and here is our instructor

so happy my wet suit had boots!!!
Laura turned on her new gopro camera
and this was the result
the river is down there!!!
this was my boat
at one point we got out of the boats and went down the rapids on our own, just drifting with the current speeding against a wall
very exciting!
and off i go!
that was awesome!
we also climbed rocks and jumped back on to the river
it was very nice and at the end we were ready to tackle a more exciting river
this one was very tame
